  • Is There a Limit to the Number of Tech Log-Ins per Store?
    No. You can create as many "administrator" and/or "technician" log-ins as you like. No limits.

  • Can You Attach Images to a Repair Ticket?
    Yes. RepairTRAX lets you either
    • Browse to an existing JPG on the hard drive, or
    • Use a Live Web Cam image feed to instantly upload images of the service item

  • Does It Support Commission Based Pay?
    Yes. You can run a commission report and pay your technicians based off of the parts / installations / work flow.

  • Does It Track Time?
    Yes. There is a "Time Clock" feature within the repair shop software, and you can also track time spent on each work order / repair ticket.

  • What Type of Repair Shop is Supported?
    RepairTRAX supports ANY type of service / repair shop, and will automatically pre-load the software for just about any type of repair shop including a Computer Repair Shop, Cell Phone Repair Shop, Bicycle / Bike Repair Shop, TV Repair Shop, Tool Repair Shop, Jewelry Repair Shop, Shoe Repair Shop, Gunsmith / Gun Repair Shop, Camera Repair Shop, Auto Repair Shop, Sew / Vac Repair Shop, Jewelery Repair Shop, and Window Repair Shop, (auto or home).   • Can I Export My Data?
    RepairTRAX supports full data export of all your data - and all with just a few clicks. Your "ticket" information (all the data presented within a given ticket) is exported in full as an EXCEL worksheet. You can define a time span (like the month of October), and export all ticket data for that month. The tickets are ZIPped up for an easy one-shot download. As for your customer data - it is exported as an EXCEL file - but it is a single sheet containing all of your customers, contact information, and all other customer-related datasets.

  • How Does the Automatic TXT Messaging Work?
    Each time a technician updates a repair ticket via the RepairTRAX interface, your customers automatically receive customized TXT and/or Email messages reflecting the progress of the repair. However, YOU get to decide which updates to the ticket trigger a repair. In addition, you can set up IN STORE messages as well.

  • Can I Turn Off TXT Messaging?
    Yes. You decide which TXT message{s} you wish to send, and each message can be fully customized by you. The customer also has the freedom to accept or decline this service during the drop-off process.

  • Can I Notify Customers via Email?
    Yes. You decide which EMAIL message{s} you wish to send, and each message can be fully customized by you. The customer also has the freedom to accept or decline this service during the drop-off process.

  • How Many Customers Will RepairTRAX Support?
    Unlimited. No limits set and no additional fees for large customer lists.

  • What Reports are Available?
    The RepairTRAX reporting system allows you to quickly break down tickets by parts & labor. It also allows you to view the time spent on tickets, and by which Technicians. Results are displayed in data format, and also in 3-D Flash pie-charts! And if your store pays Technicians by the ticket's parts & labor volume, then this software us a must.

  • Does RepairTRAX Track Off-Site Repairs?
    Yes. You can track and schedule off-site reports. You can also determine which technician{s} are allowed to receive off-site repair tickets, and which ones are strictly in-house repair techs. Super flexible!

  • Does it Have Custom Fields I Can Control?
    Yes. There are a large number of fields you can either turn off / on, plus you can adjust which fields are required or optional, and you can also define custom lables for parts and service items on your work order / repair ticket.

  • Does it Handle Warranty Repairs?
    Yes. It tracks the warranty ownership and other critical items for warranty repairs.

  • Does it Support Bar Codes?
    Yes. There are 5 different bar code types you can generate to label tickets, service itema, parts, even work flow items!

  • Can it Track Referral Sources?
    Yes. You can create an unlimited number of referral sources, and even set them "inactive" (for example, an old newspaper ad) if you so choose.
